PARENT HEART WATCH 2015 ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Scottsdale, Arizona January 19-21, 2015

Another amazing PHW conference with the families of victims and survivors of sudden cardiac arrest and outstanding presentations by doctors and researchers on the latest on SCA prevention and treatment. Attendance keeps growing every year and so is awareness of the number one killer of young athletes. Yet, there is much work to do: every three days a young athlete dies from SCA in the U.S. The ASF Foundation made our annual donation to Parent Heart Watch to support their efforts to protect our children from sudden cardiac arrest and related death.
3rd Annual Andy Smiles Forever Fundraiser
April 27, 2014

Another successful Annual Fundraiser! Once again the energy of Eddie Calle rocked the house with his Zumba moves! The Silent Auction was amazing due to the generosity of our patrons and the hard work from DHS students who collected donations. We had Dr. Thomas Nero from Stamford Hospital and the Post 53 team train the 200 participants in CPR and AED. This year we were all united in support of Bill 229, which our Foundation proposed and is lobbying for passing at the Connecticut Congress. The bill would mandate Sudden Cardiac Arrest education statewide for coaches, students and parents. Our heartfelt thanks to our supporters who made this event possible and our continued support of the Myocarditis Foundation, Parent Heart Watch and Post 53.
